Finding MLM Prospects
Obviously your Network Marketing business needs new prospects or you will not build much of a downline. Some would argue that training your team is as important as prospecting…
I would disagree!
Why? Because no prospects no business… period!
That is not to say that training your team is not important, it most certainly is, and we will get into the best ways of doing that another time.
When it comes to prospecting you really do have a whole host of options in front of you. What you must do is find one that first of all works. And second of all you are the most comfortable with and will stick with.
Finding a method that works for you, should not be that hard. One of the easiest ways to find a method of prospecting that will work for your business is to contact a few of the top enrollers in your company and ask them what they are doing.
Obviously if they are part of the top enrollers club, what they are doing works with your opportunity. I personally studied great leaders like John Milton Fogg and others to see what they did.
Now you must determine if what they are doing will be a comfortable fit for yourself.
If a strategy for recruiting works, but you are not comfortable with it, then it is useless to you.
The only way you are going to succeed in Network Marketing is if you can stick to your recruiting method day in and day out for 3-5 years. So it is imperative that you are comfortable with the method you choose.
Now a word of warning, when I say comfortable I mean is it something you can learn, is it something that once you learn you will stick with.
I do not mean for you to stay away from something because it will make you get outside of your comfort zone. You must stretch and reach. You must grow into the person you need to become to be successful.
Anything new will be uncomfortable at first, but as you get better at it, it almost magically becomes easy.
The main thing here is to find a method that works, and a method that you can see yourself sticking to. Then just simply going out and doing it.
Do not get upset if your results are not the same as the big wig you got the strategy from. It takes time to master a new skill and recruiting in Network Marketing is no different.
Give yourself the time to get good at recruiting. It pays oh so well!

Are You Recruiting Up?
Today gang I wanted to stress to you in this post the importance of developing the skill of recruiting up!
What exactly does it mean to recruit up you are asking?
Well great question but let’s first look at what 95% of Network Marketers do…
The best way to look at it is… let’s say you that you consider yourself on the chart as a 7 out of 10….
Well the majority of network marketers always recruit down… they look for 6′s and 5′s!
They immediately go to the people who they have influence over… people who look up to them… and people who have less ability and skill set then they do… basically people who they are less intimated by.
Now do not get me wrong I am all for helping everyone have their first success in life… I am all for helping people better themselves….. do more, be more and become more!
I actually very much enjoy helping people go onto big success…. Plus there is an old saying out there that “every dude knows a stud”! Success in network marketing is a numbers game, so do not leave anyone out, share your message with as many people as you can on an ongoing bases.
However it is crucial to your success gang that you start to develop the skill set of recruiting up.
That you go out and start prospecting to the 8′s, 9′s and 10′s!!
Why? Simply put they will rock your business!! And they will do so very very quickly! I first learnt this from a Doug Firebaugh training.
People that know how to create success in other careers, jobs, business, etc…. will very quickly figure out how to have success in Network Marketing!
People who are doers movers and shakers will rock your business fast.
Find me the most busy, successful doctor, lawyer, real estate agent, etc… and I will show you a future top income earner in the network marketing industry.
And the best thing is… recruiting up is no harder then recruiting down once you get your head around simply going out and doing it…. once you get over the fear intimidation and simply go for it.
Same methods apply…. hand them a tool and let the tool do the talking and then watch your down line explode!
One of these movers and shakers alone can be responsible for exploding your downline…. definitely worth getting over your fear and fast!!!

To Attract Leaders, You Must Become A Leader
Stop slouching… put your shoulders back…. stand up straight… stand tall… head back…. be proud!
Wow… can I remember those words my mother always said to me… seems like yesterday!
And Gang do you know what? She was right!
There is no doubt about it….. hearing those words from my Mother growing up helped me to become successful in MLM.
It is called having Posture!
It is called being Confident!
It is called having Self Esteem!
You See Gang… these traits are traits that you must have in order to become successful in the MLM industry.
It is called becoming a Leader!
People are attracted to people who are sure of themselves. People always want to team up with the leader.
People need to feel that the person they are taking guidance from knows where he/she is going… they need to have confidence in the fact that this person is taking them to the promise land!
I do not know how many times I have said it… but I am going to say it again and probably again and again!!
Leaders are the ONLY people who create the serious wealth… the beach living wealth…. the roll out of bead when you want wealth…. the hey I am picking up and heading to Europe today wealth….. in this industry!
And leaders have posture… leaders have value to give to people.
Being a good follower will allow you to earn some pretty good money in this industry… but becoming the person that has value to offer others is who people will follow and this is the golden key that will open the door to all of your dreams becoming a reality.
And Gang… never never never ever…….. buy into the lie that leaders are born! Nothing but crap!
Leaders are made!!
People become leaders… because they make the decision to do so… they step up and say I am tired of mediocrity… I am tired of struggling and barely getting by…. I will do what it takes and I will make the changes!
Anyone can make this decision… anyone can become a leader… IF they make the decision to do so.
Will it take some work and effort? Absolutely…. but anyone can do it.
Really in the end… becoming a leader is about developing confidence in yourself and your abilities…..
It is about developing a skill set or a set of skills that others will see valuable.
As soon as you start to develop this confidence… as soon as you start to develop the skill sets…. others will notice…. they will be drawn to you…
This is the bases of the “LAWS OF ATTRACTION”!
So… look at yourself… look at the areas you need to develop……
Determine the areas you need to work on and then go work on them…
>> How are your prospecting phone skills? Are you a good recruiter on the phone… this is a key skill set to have… even if you are using the internet to develop your own leads… you will still need to pick that phone up and make the calls!
The key to becoming good on the phone is to have posture…. Doug Firebaugh is great at this… do not beg people to join you… do not try and sell you business… do not chase people… these activities are WEAK!
People run away from weakness!!
Be strong and have posture… do not be rude… but be in control… control the conversation by asking questions……
Do not get into answering questions….. you are interviewing this person to see if they are worthy of your time!!!
If they are not worth your time do not hesitate to end the conversation right away… you are looking for those who are looking and willing to play your game!!
This is how a leader does it!!!
If you need to practice this… go out and purchase 300 – 500 cold leads…. purchase them with the intention of practicing having posture.
This is one of the strategies that I train my team to do and wow…. you should see the difference in posture these team members have after they are done!
Basically the key is to develop the areas you are weak in…
……. if it is public speaking then simply go out and do some public speaking……
……..if it is developing leads then go out and learn how to develop leads……
Always be learning…. “Leaders are Readers”!
Always be improving and growing…
Invest in yourself… buy the courses and books…. I buy a new course on marketing every week… simply looking to find that one extra golden nugget I am not aware of yet!!
Get around other leaders!
The fastest way to become a leader is to team up with a leader who can help you, teach you and mentor you… learn from them… watch them and then model their behaviour and before long you will have the same posture they do!!
Any great leader is always looking to help others become leaders… This is my primary focus with my MLM business… I am developing leaders…. I train and teach up and coming leaders how to emerge as a true leaders and make it to the top.
Get mentored by a mentor and you will soon become the mentor grasshopper!!

The Key To Attraction Marketing…
Ok Gang… Serious million dollar tip here for you today!
When you are marketing your business online using the whole funded proposal concept of setting yourself up as a leader, you know the whole attraction marketing deal!
It is very important that you
BE YOURSELF!!
Tell your story!
Write your emails the way you would if you were writing to a friend.
Do not try to be somebody else and try and speak their language… people will see right through you and simply pay no attention to you. Even though Max Steingart does not use these systems I learned a lot about the psychology of attraction marketing from him.
This is attraction marketing or better yet “My Story Marketing!”
And the whole key to this type of marketing is to attract people to you who can relate to YOU!
That is the beauty of this strategy!
See Gang…
You and I will attract different people… some people will relate to you and your story, your personality, your journey, your experiences, how you talk, how you write, what you say, where you are from, etc!
And that very same person I am not going to stand a chance at recruiting… simply because they may not relate to me or frankly even like me as a person!
And that is OK!
The internet is a HUGE place filled with hordes and hordes of high quality prospects who are looking for the right person to partner with… the person who they relate to and feel comfortable with!
And don’t worry about not being an expert at this stuff yet… I can promise you that if you have come this far you are way more of an expert then the people who are just getting started researching building their network marketing business online!
EVERYONE started somewhere…. the key is to just get started!
And once you get started it becomes so much easier.
Continue to learn and study these concepts… never stop learning… read the books, listen to the audios and watch the videos and then apply what you learn and then start to simply put your own swing to what you have learn’t… repackage it with your own twist to it and people who relate to you will naturally be attracted to you and want to partner with you because of who you are!!
This is powerful stuff Gang… so implement it!

Network Marketing Success Is In The List
If I could seriously get a penny for every time I am asked the question “What is the secret to recruiting”!
It cracks me how people have themselves convinced that there is some secret that all of the top income earners must be holding back, when it comes recruiting. What are they doing that they are not telling me?
Like it is some sort of conspiracy to keep the little guy who does not know the secret down!
Ok are you ready for the secret, I will reveal it to you right now! I learnt this from one of my mentors Mr. Eric Worre. When it comes to recruiting it all comes down to your LIST!
Your list is the foundation, the cornerstone, the end all and be all of your success in this industry.
Learn the skill set of creating & maintaining an on-going candidate list and you are well on your way to the top!
In the end it really makes no difference how you do this… how you develop and continue to develop the list by adding people to it daily, as long as you are able to create a relationship with these people and then invite them to look at your opportunity you are set.
Now of course there are numerous methods you can use to continue your list:
1) Warm Market is still the best place to start Period!
2) Get out meet people your business needs. People who are successful already. The best place to do this is your local chamber of commerce or board of trade after hours events. Attend them and socialize and then become a business card collector.
3) Keep your eyes out for sharp people! LIVE LIFE Gang! Get out there and do what you enjoy and simply keep an eye out for sharp people.
4) Ask for referrals! When people say no to your business ask them for a few names of people who they know would be good at this.
5) Use the internet to meet people. The social networking sites that are out there are awesome for meeting people. Make friends on them and develop relationships and when the time is right let them know about your opportunity.
The key is to simply do it! Get out there and meet people gang!!
Once you learn this skill all it takes is learning how to invite them to look at your opportunity and you will be well on your way to becoming one of the top recruiters in your company!
